MOVEMENT
Using a systems approach, let's create a practice where your body can move away from some of its imbalances and dysfunctions, and towards more pain-free efficiency. Start moving the physical pillar with increased awareness of its myofascial connectivity and learn how different muscles can support each other to create optimal movement patterns. Options to get started with personal training, biomechanic classes, and/or deep tissue bodywork to get yourself primed for whatever comes your way.

About Me
My name is Zoe Kian, a.k.a Zo, and I have been deeply immersed in the fields of conscious movement and music for over a decade now. I was born in Brasilia, Brazil, and grew up on the island of Bali, Indonesia. Throughout my journey, movement and music have always been powerful sources of inspiration that have guided the direction of my studies around the world. I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certified personal trainer, as well as a 300 RYT Yoga instructor.
Over the past few years my focus has been directed into the world of myofascia, as I have adopted training modalities that support this intricate web work, the connective tissue, of the human anatomy. Understanding these myofascial meridians, under the work of Thomas W. Myers’ “Anatomy Trains”, and how we can strengthen our connection of these muscle groups to learn to move as one cohesive unit has become the central pillar of my training approach. Biomechanics is a word used to describe elements of this training style: the word Bio meaning ‘life’, and thus learning to align our human mechanics with the fullest expression of life. In my training sessions we focus on functional strength, myofascial elasticity, and finding balance throughout the entire kinetic chain. Together we train movement patterns that help develop neuro-plasticity, support a new postural awareness, and ignite our mind-body connection.
